BEST CREDIT CARD BOOK EVER! (5.0)

This book is amazing if you want more information on how to make credit cards work for you. It covers how to get out of debt, how to handle your cards, and how to earn rewards and money back, plus other topics! It's such a great book, I've actually read other books that refer to this book to make their points! So if you are wondering if you should purchase this book or maybe look for another book, I would say this is the IT book. You probably don't need any other books. This is the ONE!

Not a review, but a question (1.0)

Now that the CC rules have changed, will there be an update book?

Obama will sign into law some sweeping credit card rule changes that will send the industry on its head, and some consumers with it--will there be a book on how to profit from the NEW credit card rules? So far, all I've been able to suss out is how to avoid the Obama-placed roadblocks to credit access, since he plans on doing away with pretty much all profit opportunity.

Everything you wanted to know (but were afraid to ask!) (5.0)

"How You Can Profit ..." delivers handily on the titled promise to those who desire a better understanding of how credit cards can best be used to your financial advantage. However, the true nature of the book is comprehensive encyclopedia of all credit card ins-and-outs.

The book is a compendium of info re card options, rebate availability, debt management, inadvisable supplemental products, plus insight into credit score implications of credit card use (and much more).

Whether just looking to take better advantage of existing credit card use, or interested in other goals (such as maximizing purchase rebates/rewards, lock in attractive financing, or stronger financial budgeting), "How You Can Profit ..." is loaded with opportunities/ideas and steers you through related hazards so that you're bound to come out on top.

Turning the tables (5.0)

I used to work in credit card marketing and I've seen the money and resources that go into getting people to open credit cards and to build balances. Card issuers build mathematical models and track statistical correlations over very large numbers of people to determine how best to get you to pay them interest and fees. I'm glad to see Curtis expose some of the tricks that issuers use and how we can turn these techniques to our advantage.

[...] I would love everyone to use these techniques to your advantage. For those who can use cards to their advantage, this book is a must-read.

well written book! (5.0)

A very well written book which goes a long way toward enlightening credit card users. Arnold discusses both pitfalls and opportunities - conveyed in a easy-to-understand style and language. If you care about your financial literacy, you need to read this book.
