Editorial Reviews

Kabbalah Revealed: The Ordinary Person's Guide to a More Peaceful Life is a clearly-written, user-friendly guide to making sense of the surrounding world while achieving inner peace. Each of the six chapters in this book focuses on a different aspect of the ancient wisdom of Kabbalah, shedding new light on a teaching that has too often been shrouded in mystery and misconceptions. A subtle, yet profound idea weaves the book's chapters into a coherent and concrete whole. The first three chapters in Kabbalah Revealed tell us why the present world is in a state of crisis, explaining how our growing desires promote progress as well as alienation, and why the biggest deterrent to achieving positive change is rooted in our own spirits.

Excellent Intro Text (5.0)

This book by Rav Michael Laitman is an absolute must read if you are going to study Kabbalah with Beni Baruch. I would strongly recommend reading it before beginning the online classes as it will very much accellerate the learning process and increase your desire.

Describing the history, system and approach to Kabbalah, the book will provide the reader with an intorduction to the wisdom, as well as the structure of creation. The approachable language, occasional humor and general simplicity (not to be confused with simplistic) writing will definitely cause the reader to want to dive in more - and Laitman has other books that will allow you to do that.

The language is very simple and easy to understand, with plenty of summaries, drawings, details and quotes thrown in to the mix. A good primer before reading Wonderous Wisdom by Mike Kellogg as well - it is the definitive prep book for Kabbalah study. If you are well down the path of studies, this book is probably a bit too introductory. However, if you are just starting out or want a quick read to refresh your knowledge, this one will do the trick.

Best introduction to Kabbalah (5.0)

As a novice student of Kabbalah, it has been very challenging to find an introductory book to the subject that is not both confusing and hermetic.
Kabbalah Revealed is, by far, the best book for beginners I have read.
I highly recommend it.

A personal journey of truth (5.0)

Kabbalah Revealed

This book was written well. It truly gives a peaceful introduction into Kabbalah, while delivering a true history of Kabbalah.
Through this book one is shown a personal journey that one is about to undertake, a journey about life and ones place in the Universe. I would recommend this book to any one whether they have been studying or just beginning or just thinking about it. I do not think you will be disappointed.

Kabbalah Revealed (5.0)

Kabbalah Revealed is a must read for anyone wanting to further their studies in Kabbalah. The science of Kabbalah has been around for thousands of years. In the beginning, people were in-tune with nature and they were able to work with nature, and each other, in order to live peacefully. At some point, we take a turn, and we forget we need to work with, and for the benefit of all, in order to live in a peaceful world. Kabbalah Revealed is written in a way everyone can understand and grasp the basic concepts of Kabbalah. It helps individuals look into themselves in order to find answers to questions they have been asking regarding their lives and how they effect this universe.

One of the best on subject (5.0)

I must admit, this is probably the best book on the Kabbalah I own. Perhaps I'm just an "Ordinary Person," and that's why I click with it so much. I totally recommend this book. In fact, if I ever was going to start a book discussion group about the Kabbalah, this is the book I'd choose.
