“There are multiple sides to all of us. Who we are and who we might be if we follow our dreams.”
-Miley Cyrus
Three years ago, Miley Cyrus was a virtual unknown. Her life in rural Tennessee was filled with family, friends, school, cheerleading, and the daily tasks of living on a farm. And then came a little show called Hannah Montana.
Almost overnight, Miley would rocket to superstardom, becoming a television and singing phenomenon. Quiet days were replaced with sold-out concerts, television appearances, and magazine shoots. But through it all, Miley has remained close to her family and friends and has stayed connected to the Southern roots that made her so strong.
In Miles to Go, Miley offers an honest, humorous, and often touching story of one girl's coming-of-age--from private moments with her pappy to off-roading with her dad, Billy Ray, to her run-ins with mean girls. Miley talks about suffering through drama and heartbreak and coming out the other end unscathed (relatively). And now for the first time, she will discuss it all—the milestones still left to reach (driver’s license! voting!), dreams to live out (travel to Asia! find true love!), and the lessons to be learned (remembernig to enjoy every moment!).
This is a truly unique look inside the world of one of today’s biggest and brightest stars as she tackles looking back and moving forward.

i wasnt excpeting this book to be this good. Once i picked it up i couldnt put it down. The book was meaningful and touching and deep. I would definately recommend this book.
First of all anybody here just bashing Miley should really get their own life in check. You're no better than what you make HER out to be if all you do is sit around and post stupid things on amazon.com reviews..
Anyways, this book changed my life, just seeing everything Miley's gone through, NORMAL TEENAGER STUFF that we've all been through. She definitely didn't have her fame handed to her, she went through all sorts of auditions, and risks to get to where she is now, and she's doing a great job.
Anybody who says that Miley isn't a good role model needs to get themselves together, Miley doesn't go out and get drunk, Miley doesn't do drugs, Miley doesn't sing about sex, she sings about things that are inspiring like self love, forgiveness and following your dreams.
This book is amazing, and I would recommend it to anybody, Miley fan or not, because I think that everybody can relate to at least one thing that she's said in this book whether it's losing a family member, losing a friend, being in love, being bullied, or following your dreams.

This is terrible. I used the Amazon Book Preview first and then looked into it occasionally on libraries and the media, so perhaps my opinion won't be the most helpful, but I've got to say, I'm glad. If I bought the book and read it further, I'd have a heart attack.
First of all, I think we all know that Miley Cyrus herself in all chance did not write this book. Wink. Wink. No, she composed her own rough draft and hired someone who understood the trials of the American teen to continue. Perhaps a young prepubescent. In all probability. This review isn't biased at all, but Miley Cyrus, being the person she is, could not write a good book. She misspelled her own tweets. Come on, people.
The hook/first sentence is somewhat good. Then it gets repetitive. In fact, the whole book is repetitive. I don't know if this is her perspective of a 16 year old child looking back into her past or something, but it definitely seemed way too mature for middle school. Or maybe me, a 12 year old girl, is way behind modern times. Either way, her stereotyping of "cliques" and suchlike in middle school is very exaggerated. Sure, she can talk about how good she did in school. But everyone wants to feel quirky, right? Even the popular kids. So PWNage to you, Miley Cyrus.
On the semi-bright side, aside from all her hypocrisy and stereotyping and exaggeration, this book... has... um... it has nice swirly things when she mentions things she wants to do before she dies. Does everyone have those swirly things or just the text?
Visually, I detested it. Dabbling with graphic designing myself, this was a horror. With big hair. And weird zombie eyes. The gothica font and then the smaller pink text (The only place pink actually shows up) doesn't match her outfit or the floor underneath it. I HATE it when an author's font is bigger than the book's title. And I hate the book's font. Maybe, to some of you, the graphics don't matter. They do to me. So I reserve the right to complain about them.
Overall, don't buy this book. She's stupid. The book is stupid. The font is stupid. I really doubt you want your children further infatuated with her, and if you're a parent, I trust your abilities to distinguish good writing... or not.
This is the best autobiograpy I have ever read in my life. When Miley writes she has what's called an "author's voice" which is where she speaks through her writing. This wasn't a money making stunt to get money or publicity, this was purely from her heart. Job well done, Miley.
oh. pretty little miley cyrus. i have so many miles to go... oh wow miley. realy? i dont think dating dudes WAY out of ur league, pole dancing, and threatning ur 'rents that u'll move out if they dont allow liam to sleep, i mean live wit you, are pressures of ur little perfect life. i mean really, she used to be a nicelittle girl like 4 yrs ago. i even used to possibly even be her biggest fan. but now, i notice her and her stupid lies
