Great Detector for the Price (4.0)

I bought this for the beach. It was able to find many bottle caps buried 3-4 inches beneath the sand. Tried it on coins buried 2-3 inches down and it found all of them. Back at home it found two AL beer cans buried 6-7 inches beneath the surface. I think it's a great detector for the money.

Great for kid explorers (5.0)

I bought this for my 8-year-old granddaughter. I "seeded" her yard with coins, old jewelry, etc. so she had great fun finding old treasures. The detector is easy for her to operate, and because she is small, the fact that the length is adjustable is very important. it was a big hit, and she will be taking it to the beach this summer. I highly recommend this.

This metal detector is great for my son. We found a lot of things, even scrapmetal like pie pans. We also found a battery a foot under the ground. My son was very happy about this christmas present.

Not impressive aqnd my daughter who is 9yrs old waiting for months to get a metal detector and used it 3 times and never again much too sensitive and a big upset.

Bought this for my 7yr old to go explore.....It looks good and did not break the bank. It picks up well- stuff that is on the surface, but I doubt you would ever find anything "BURIED"..take it for what it is-A Toy..
