Works perfectly (5.0)

This brining bag did a great job holding a 21 lb turkey & enough liquid to submerge it. I was afraid it might break but it was very strong!

Brining Bags (2.0)

You have to make sure you ONLY seal this bag when you are absolutely certain that you are ready to do so. It is impossible to undo the zip once it is done. There was only 1 bag, not 2, so it's pretty expensive.

Brine bag (5.0)

Great product!!! I put all the brine mixture (2 gallon) plus a 17 lb turkey in this bag into a large ice chest filled with ice and 24 hours later....I have a completely well-brine turkey. Bag held up well and not even a drop of liquid leaked so that is a sign of a great brining bag; I'll use the same brand again next year......

Great Brining Bag (5.0)

I was not sure what type of brining bag I would need for 16 lb turkey. Well, this bag was definitely big enough for any turkey size. Its sealed very easily and made brining a very simple task. Hope this helps to any who are not sure which product is best.

The perfect solution for mess-free turkey brining! (5.0)

I am so glad I found this item last year! It is a nice, heavy bag. The ziplocking mechanism works great and holds up very well.

Get a 5 gallon bucket (you can buy a brand new, clean one for cheap at many stores, incl. WM) and put the open bag in the bucket (sort of like you are lining the bucket). Lower the turkey in and then pour your brining solution in and zip 'er up! Then you can just put the top on your 5 gallon bucket and put it in a cool place for the night. I laid some Cryopaks on top of the bucket to give it extra coolness and put it in my laundry room. It made it so easy. I believe I got that tip from Alton Brown.

My bucket didn't even get dirty. When it was time to rinse off the turkey I just brought the bagged turkey up to my sink, stood it up in the sink and ran water in it. Then I poked a hole in the back side of the bag (it's not like you are going to use it again!) and kept running water to get a good rinse. That way I didn't have to handle the raw poultry excessively (which skeeves me out big time!) and I was able to adequately rinse it before lifting it out and plopping that big dude into his roasting pan.
