You Get What You Pay For (3.0)

The price, service and speed of delivery were great. I somehow felt, I had less ink than I get from the regular priced HP toner. My computer indicated I had less prints. The bargain wasn't quite the bargain I'd hoped.

Laser cartridge (2.0)

Our HP printer read the first cartridge as used and the first one ran out at 800 pages when 2200 was claimed. 2nd cartridge just installed (Bought 2 pack) So far not so good

False Advertising (1.0)

The add clearly states that this is a HP PRODUCT IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING but what I received was some kind of after market or refilled cartridge NOT an ORIGINAL HP PRODUCT then when I tried to contact the seller it took a VERY LONG TIME to get a response & their response was that I checked some kind of button agreeing to after market or 2nd hand products. The advertising is misleading & if I INCORRECTLY checked a button it was ONLY because of the CONFUSING & INTENTIONALLY MISLEADING way the ad is set up. I ONLY USE HP PRODUCTS in order to protect my equipment & keep the warrenty in tact were it not for a MISLEADING AD I WOULD NOT have checked a button in error (as they claim) & INSTEAD would have received what is CLEARLY ADVERTISED in the ad.

1400 copies per cartridge...highly unlikely!!! (2.0)

I never get anywhere near as many copies as advertised from this series of HP color laser toners. Not sure how they arrived at the advertised number of 1400 copies per toner cartridge. I may get 800-1000 copies...maybe.

It is also very frustrating that the toner cartridges have a bunch of toner left in them after the printer shuts them down and tells you the cartridge is unusable. I guess a chip tells the toner to shut down after so many copies irregardless of the amount of toner left in the cartridge. What a rip off!!!

On the plus side the cartridges are real easy to return for recycling with the provided box and UPS label. Good thing because you are going to go through a bunch of these if you print very much at all.

I used to pay outrageous prices for toner from hp (approaching 71 dollars for this cartridge) - amazon will take a three hundred and fifty dollar toner refill for all 4 and knock it down to under 2 benjamins with their agressive toner and ink pricing.

I have an account with HP direct established based on my purchase volumes of $6K designjets, paper, ink, toner, etc that gives me discounts. I'm getting a better price here on amazon than from my HP account.

This is fully compatible with the CLP1518ni printer (and others in that series). You just save over HP's price for it, and due to the high volumes, it is current production, not stale stuff that has been sitting around!
