LEGO Rock Band merges two of the most popular video game franchises to deliver a unique family-friendly music experience that will take tweens, teens, families and gamers of all ages on a wild journey to rock stardom in order to "Build a Band and Rock the Universe." Combining the authentic multiplayer music experience of Rock Band with the accessibility, customization and humor of LEGO games, LEGO Rock Band allows players to create their own unique rock star style and customize their own avatars, band members, roadies, and managers. Gameplay Action in LEGO Rock Band is nearly identical to the familiar flow of Rock Band gameplay, only with a LEGO twist. Your goal is to run through a succession rock tinged family friendly song tracks with your band, consisting in multiplayer modes of up to four avatars in LEGO form controlled with guitar, bass guitar, microphone and drum controllers. The game features compatibility with most existing Rock Band and Guitar Hero instrument controllers for the appropriate platform. One of the fun LEGO influences is in the tablature flowing across the screen that directs your play. This is in the form of LEGO blocks color coded for each controller. As players successfully complete songs and rock challenges, they can collect LEGO 'studs,' with which they can customize their avatar and other in-game goodies in true LEGO Snap-On fashion. In addition, players can unlock additional content and collect amazing vehicles, which can transport their band from local gigs at rock clubs to epic stadium shows and even fantasy settings on Earth and beyond. The game contains a variety of play modes including Quickplay and Challenge, and will feature music both supplied on the game disc as well as downloadable content. For for Adults Too (5.0)

We purchased this Wii game for our son's 10th birthday, but soon found out that the game was a lot of fun for the whole family. The game has lots of wonderful, upbeat songs and the graphics are great. I like how they have interesting facts shown at the bottom of the screen when you are waiting for a song to load. I would highly recommend this game to other families with school age and teenage kids.

Lego Rock Band Rocks! (5.0)

We have had so much fun with this game! It is great for newbies, our whole family has enjoyed playing the game. The game has great songs and interactive band lair. My daughter and I laughed at the animation sequence of the making of the band. We also enjoyed destroying the building by playing Tick Tick Boom. We haven't advanced very far but we enjoy singing our favorite songs over and over again. My daughter loves changing her character even though it is a bit limited to faces. You earn outfits,hair styles,clothes, and misc other things. My daughters favorite is the Lego parrot that sits in our lair. I would highly recommend this game to anyone, especially if you have kids or are a fan of Legos. Just remember to calibrate your instruments before you try to play the first time. We were frustrated until we did, now we have a blast and love playing it with our friends!

Greatest Rock Band Game yet (5.0)

I Got this game when i bought Wii Wireless Drums for Rock Band 2.
The playlist is great. i am not into rock at all.
This is just perfect . Playing the drums on no fail mode made is possible for me to become a real rocker and even do well on "expert" which never happened before.
Now, the playlist. the playlist is sweet. Queens, Pink, Blink-182, Two Princess, Sum41, and more and more... I Just cant stop playing this game only beacuse i wanna hear the songs!!!
So this game is fun for all ages - and the music is gr8 for everyone too.

This game is great! They took the Rock band 2 game and made it even better. First of all, playing as legos is just fun in itself. Also, I love that their is a no fail mode so that even people with less rhythm skills and younger kids can play along and still have fun and feel like rock stars. This edition of Rock Band has many great songs to play along to and makes a great party game!

Great family game (4.0)

We purchased this game for my daughter's ninth birthday and she loves playing it with her friends. The super easy mode is great for younger children who do not have the patience to learn all of the more complecated controls. The game does work with the Band Hero drums, microphone, and guitar. I think this is a great entry level game for the wii, and it has enough to keep adults entertained when playing as a family.
