Not that effective (2.0)
I let a heavy cardboard box slide down the side of my car, which caused a scrape. This product removed about half of the scrape, but after washing the car about half of what had been removed came back. Later, I got the car waxed at a car wash/wax, and this place did a better job of removing the scrape. I think it's too expensive for the imperfect job that it does.
Might work, but not transparent (3.0)
It's too early to tell if these strips will keep my cat from scratching the area that I put them on, but they are not transparent, because I cannot remove the top protective layer from them. Installation has three steps: (1) Remove strip from backing, exposing sticky side that goes against furniture. (2) Stick strip on furniture. (3) Remove top protective layer from strip, so that you cannot see the strip very well. I cannot do step 3. That top layer is stuck so well that I can't remove it -- not even with an Exacto knife.
