Great for the price. (4.0)

These aren't high quality cutting tools by any means, but for the price you pay, it's a really good bargain. The tools work, though they aren't very sturdy so the metal easily bends. The scooper is pretty handy, and works better than trying to scoop it with a spoon.

Also we used the included patterns to cut our pumpkins and they turned out pretty well.

Overall for only $5 this is a very nice set. I didn't keep them since I figure I can just spend another $5 next year for Halloween.

Not worth the money! (2.0)

I bought 2 of these kits and within 5 minutes, the poker and 2 of the knives were broken. By the time we were done carving, the remaining 2 "saws" were just about broken too, they were completely bent and almost unusable. This kit was a waste of money, I'll have to repurchase carving knives again next year.

Halloween is my favorite holiday & I get creative with my pumpkins as well as my costume. This kit works very well for intricate detailing of your Jack-o-lantern. The only thing I didn't use was the scoop which I pretty much found useless. Digging out the guts with my hands works much better and I kinda like the way the pumpkins entrails & seeds feel oozing thru my fingers. Oh Baby! But thats just me. Ciao
