Fabulous Buy plus Fast, Super Service! (5.0)

Let me begin my review by stating I've never been a "purse" gal. I have many friends and some family members who have closets filled with various purses, yet it's never been my thing. That said, I was in need of a new purse and got advice about brands others prefer. Kathy Van Zeeland was one of the brands, and as I browsed the web... well... I just don't pay $100 for a purse. Then I browsed Amazon's selection, and was thrilled at the much better pricing. I ordered the connect four belt shopper. It shipped very quickly and arrived very well packed. This purse is much nicer "in person" than I imagined from the web photos; it's soft, supple, attractive and not huge. The pockets in the front have magnetic clasps and aren't small--I'll use one for my cell phone and one for keys. The zipper compartment on the front is exceptionally well made and has ample room to hold a check book or even a glasses case--nice feature! The inside has a cell phone pocket, credit card pockets, and a zipper pocket for lipsticks, a comb, purse sized perfume or whatever. I like to carry small safety sizzors for clipping coupons. It's deep enough and large enough to carry essentials without being tote bag size, and there's a magnetic clasp to keep contents secure. The gathered top also provides security in that regard. I absolutely love this purse and thanks to Amazon, got it for about half the retail price! It may be my first Kathy Van Zeeland purchase, but it won't be my last!

I bought this purse march of 2008. I love the purse itself. I'm a big fan of large handbags and I have the charcoal colored one. The only thing I found is after a couple of months of use with this bag it started slowly falling apart. The plastic coating on the leather started getting air bubbles in it and the two layers started seperating. I live in PA so its not like it gets excessivly hot for it to seperate either. Just tiny things like that, little frays etc. Maybe I use my purse too hard, I'm not sure. Other than that I completetly love this purse. So much that I just deal with the little faults it has.

This is a cute purse. It is a good size and good quality. It is shiny but not too shiny and the material on the inside is very pretty. I was looking for a purse that I could put on my shoulder that wouldn't slide off and the straps work well for this. The metal studs on the bottoms of the straps are huge and I jokingly told my husband that I could knock him out with them! I love Kathy Van Zeeland designs... they are funky and I love the attention to details.
