These boots were a gift for my daughter for Christmas. They came quickly, and packaged to withstand gale-force winds. The boots are well made and warm. I would suggest buying waterproofing to keep them nice. She loves them. The cost is a bit much, but the workmanship looks great. Also, watch the sizing. I was told they are cut large. I ordered one size smaller than she wore and the fit was perfect.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I bought a size smaller than my shoe size and they fit perfectly. I do not wear socks with them and it is like walking on a fuzzy cloud! Worth the money for sure. I also own a pair of Emu Stingers and the Uggs weigh less and are much softer. Love these!

These are my 5th pair of UGG boots and I think they make a great addition to my collection! I was looking for another pair that would be good with jeans to go shopping or with sweats to go to a yoga class. They are very comfortable, and overall a fun boot. I feel they run true to size.

I ordered these black boots about a week after getting the same style in light purple. They are very comfortable; I even wear them in bed some nights. I am short and this style probably suits me best. My only criticism are that UGG's are too expensive and they really do look too strange or casual for wearing at work with pants unless you wear them under the pants and not cuffed and then you lose the stylish element and people can't see they're UGG's. Cuffed they look too much like a snow boot although I like to wear them this way best.

I love this syle of uggs. I have them in black and gray. When I saw them on amazon in brown I was so excited. I ordered them and waited two weeks for them to come. After wearing them 2 times they started looking old. It is hard to explain what they look like, but they did not look like uggs that had been worn 2 times. I called the company and asked them if they would exchange them and they said NO. It is not like I had them for a month. It was less then a week. I have several pairs of uggs and NONE of them look like this. Some I have had for 2 years and they look better then these. I will never wear them out in public so I wasted 150.00 and the company lost a good customer. I will order my childrens and my uggs from another company. Good Luck with this company. I hope you have better luck then I did.

I love these boots they are sooo cute. However, I guess I'm in between sizes the 6 was too small and the 7 was too big. So I'm out $40 in shipping and returns and UGG-less. I'd advise trying these on in person before buying online. I own classic UGG boots in a size 6 that fit perfect. I guess something with the sweater material doesn't agree with the size of my feet! I'm sad, I really wish they would have worked out.

I ordered these boots for my daughter for Xmas and actually lucked out because they fit her perfectly and she liked them. In the future I will not order shoes or boots for anyone over the net because I found out after I ordered them there would have been a restocking fee plus shipping to the company which happened to be in Hawaii. I also read after I ordered that you should order these in a smaller size, so I felt sure they weren't going to fit. (I ordered her normal size, and they fit perfectly.) I e-mailed the company to ask what to do if they didn't work out, but they never responded. I went to their web site and read about the restocking fee and shipping. Save yourself much anxiety and buy shoes after you try them on.

I absolutely love these boots, they are cute, comfortable and warm. As much as I love them I could not give them five stars for two reasons (1) the sizing is way too big and (2) I would not suggest wearing them in heavy snow or rain.

Good quality product - At first I wasn't sure if I should order a half size down from my normal size (8.5), and when I got the boots (size 8) I thought they were a little snug, but after I wore them for a day or two they fit like a glove! Stylist boots... I get lots of compliments on them, although I'm not sure if there is a way you can treat the woven material so it doesn't get fuzzy with wear.

I had bought. Sand size 7, for the first time. It was a very soft fleece inside the.
Was very happy for my foot. So I had to buy charcoal and chocolate to add. They were very disappointing. Doubtful whether the wool is right. All gone soft. Tingly was too harsh. I was comforting myself. Maybe it is because he dyed ... You must remember. That the quality may vary according to color. I want to revert to before I choose a color.

Decided to risk ordering the largest size manufactured by EMU as well as UGG (as far as I have found) even though I wear size 11. The footbed is wide enough to accommodate but just a wee bit shorter than desired. I knew it would be so. But I have decided to reserve them for indoor wear this winter as "house slippers" At this price, wouldn't you?

I bought these for my wife after hearing raves about the quality of Emu boots. Not only did my wife love these boots, but she wore them for most of the North Illinois winter. My wife usually complains of numb toes after walking around outside for longer than a half hour, but she was so cozy in these boots that she opted to go sans socks frequently.

This review might be a little long, but it may help you in your search for sheepskin boots.
I ordered Bearpaws last year with the lug sole. Great boots, and if you plan on wearing them in the winter, the lug sole is a huge plus. The lining was merino wool, not the pricer shearling, but still very warm. Bearpaws do run true to size, maybe a little smaller than UGG and EMU, plus they are a 1/3 of the cost. I went to Macys to try on the EMU boots and couldnt decide between the Bronte and Stinger version. Saleslady was very helpful, stating the higher priced Stinger had the better shearling lining and better overall construction. Seeing them side by side you could tell the difference.
I ordered a pair of EMU Hi premium Stingers from Amazons partner Warehouse Deals and was very pleased. They are definately bigger in size then my Bearpaws but the added removable insert was a nice suprise. They do have an arch support that I wasnt expecting. One thing I dont like about the EMU and Ugg boots is the cloth braid where the suede meets the sole. I always waterproof my boots but don't like the fabric on the boot. I wear them outside in the winter and dont know how well it will hold up, even with waterproofing. My Bearpaws with the lug sole are bonded to the suede with rubber which makes them a better choice for winter/slush/snow. I did a TON of research on the different linings between UGG/EMU/BEARPAWS. The merino wool which is the cheapest, is still very nice, just a little nappier than the shearling. The shearling that lines the EMU Stingers is definately top of the line. It is one solid peice, and is very soft on bare feet! I normally wear a size 9. The bearpaws fit perfectly in that size, but my size 9 EMU are a little roomier. Wish I had gotten an 8 instead, but the 9 still fits fine. The Stinger has a nice sole, but I think I will order the EMU Outback version that has the lug sole next since I wear them all winter and need the traction. Overall, for cost, the Bearpaws are just as nice as the EMU and UGG boot. The suede upper is a little stiffer than the UGG and EMU, but I dont mind that. EMU's are closer to UGG is style but cost more than BEARPAW. UGG is still the better known brand, but in my opinion, not worth the extra money unless you want the brand name. If you plan on wearing without socks, go for the shearling lining, its super soft! If you normally wear socks, the merino wool is just as warm. As for me, I think I'll be getting another pair of Bearpaws since you can't beat the cost and they do also have the wonderful shearling lining.

I got these as a gold box deal because the price was great and my feet freeze every winter at work. I bought a size 7 and typically wear a 7 or 7 1/2. The fit is good except for the heel. The heel cup digs into the back of my ankle painfully when I'm walking around. As I typically sit at a desk all day, it's not a deal breaker considering they do keep my feet warm (which is a HUGE thing for me.) It would also be nice if they had so sort of finger gore at the top for those of us with calves that are a bit bigger, but that isn't a huge thing for me.

Great shoe, but not for me... (4.0)

I ordered these shoes in a U.S. size 8 (I usually wear a 8-8 1/2). I returned them because my toes were right at the end and didn't want to chance the shoes not stretching out for me. The feel was amazing though!!! The sheepskin was so soft and the support felt great. My sister own the Emu Bronte's which didn't have the same feel. The stinger is defiantly a more luxurious shoe for the money. In the end I purchased the Emu Outback which had the same great feel as the Stinger.

Favorite Boots EVER (5.0)

I ordered these for Christmas and wear them whenever the temperature dips below 50. I absolutely love them! They're super comfy and soft and have nice support. They're much nicer than the Brontes and definitely worth the extra money. Bronte fluff flattens quickly, but these are still soft and warm. The real sheepskin does make a difference. I definitely definitely recommend these boots!

First, let me say that I LOVE my EMU boots! I came to Amazon to look for another pair that I couldn't find locally. When I found these here, and on sale, I was delighted. However, what seems to be too good to be true, often is ... When my boots arrived, they were not the boots I had ordered; they were EMU Stinger Hi boots in a Stinger Lo box (I read another review stating something similar). When I tried contacting the company directly by leaving voicemails, I received no response -- despite the outgoing message stating that I would get a timely response. If you are able to call or do online chat during the day, I have found that is the only time to get someone.# A few days later, after calling repeatedly, I finally spoke with a customer rep who then told me that they ALWAYS return phone messages. I returned the boots. And my original feedback was removed. Hmmm... I wonder why? But, I'm glad to say that I was able to purchase the EMU boots I wanted on sale through a different online company without any of the hassles trying to deal with Gotham.

Helpful EMU hints: One difference between the new black EMUs (and my brown) is that they have have caused some discoloration inside during wearing (due to the dying process) so my toes and soles need washing after wearing! But this has lessened over time. For new EMU and UGG users, be SURE to treat your boots with special UGG waterproofing spray (per the directions) before wearing. It's fairly inexpensive and will help keep them cleaner and water repellent. I personally buy half a size down and they fit snugly when I first get them, but after wearing a few weeks, they begin to loosen up so that if I'd purchased bigger, they would then be too big. (The sheepskin interior flattens and they stretch out a bit.) It also depends on whether you intend to wear them with/without socks.

slippers on steroids (2.0)

This is NOT your typical indoor, 'lounge around the house' slipper. It has a hard, heavy and rigid sole for outdoor walking. I wear a true size 7 and these fit to size. HOWEVER- true to their name - and probably because of the large opening at the top along with the shear weight of these slippers, they don't stay on as your feet SLIP right out when you take a step. Yes, plush yummy comfy, if you don't move. If you like your slippers to come with a physical workout, these are for you :) I had to return them as they were not what I expected (obviously, lol)

Warm, Girly, Price is Right (4.0)

Love these slippers because they're warm and easy to slip on. The down side is
they're a bit loose around the ankles. I normally wear a size 9 1/2.
I went by a previous review and ordered a size 10 since the don't sell 1/2 sizes.
The bottoms are pretty stiff so my foot kept falling out when i walked.
Had to return the 10 and get a 9. It fits wonderfully with or without socks.
These slippers stand up to walks to the garbage can outside. I even wore
them driving once, pretending they were Uggs. The price is much less than most
slippers of this quality. Get em.

Fall Off Feet (3.0)

I am a size 7.5 and I ordered a 7 and even though they are supposed to be a half-size smaller these shoes are definitely hard to stay on.. the part where you foot goes in it very large and there is hardly any room where your foot is covered. Definitely warm and VERY cute -- I ordered Sand. I will not return but I'm a little sad that they are not what I was expecting.

The Shark Lo is a more rugged boot, and a very comfortable boot. This is my 5th pair of emu boots. The size is true. The color is true and the price exceptional. I wear them all year around, wet-weather being the exception, from the airport to the zoo...love these boots..

Size Trouble (4.0)

I just got my boots in the mail today. I absolutely love the style and quality, but unfortunately I ordered too small of a size. I wear 8 1/2s and I was unsure which size to order. Many reviews said that they were really big so I went with a 7. My toes hit the front of the boot so I am returning them and ordering an 8. Rounding down a half size or a whole size is sufficient. I wouldn't recommend any smaller than that.

I ordered the Shark Lo boot in a size 10, which I wear in every other boot/shoe brand. I probably could have ordered an 8 and they would have fit. Aside from the sizing, the boot seemed to be constructed well and the Shark Lo had a fairly aggressive tread pattern, which was one of the main reasons that I purchased this over other styles. Great price and I think I would have been happy if I sized down 2.

These boots are great....They make you feel like you are walking on clouds....The only thing I don't like is the fur comes out after awhile,but not to be taken away from the rest of the quality of these boots.The price is great and compared to the price of Ugg boots,buy Emu.....They look like Ugggs but half the price.They are stylish and comfortable,i wear a size 8,I am glad I read the reviews first,I ordered a size 7 and they fit perfect....

These boots are great! They are my second pair, one black and one brown.
They are warm and I love to wear them with barefeet and they don't smell.
I have never tried the UGG boots and for those prices they can them.
Make sure you waterproof them. Not that I had any problems with mine,
but just to avid the trouble.

These boots are heavenly comfortable! I live in a northern climate and they are perfect for winter and autumn. Plus they are very cute. I suggest them for taller women with longer legs because they are rather tall boots. I'm 5'7" and they almost make my legs look short.

These boots are great -- warm, fine with bare feet -- the wool IS different from that in UGGs, but still very comfortable. As with everyone else, I ordered a size down from my normal shoe size. The only unpleasant surprise was that in a photo, the tie makes it look like you cinch up the boot as you do with the lower hipper boot. However, it is purely decorative. The actual boot fit rather snugly on my not quite 15" calf (never thought I had big calves till I started reading boot reviews). While I feel confident that they will stretch a bit over time, be aware that if you are athletic and have definition in your calves, these boots will be snug.

Granted, I have a thicker calf, but making them a little bigger would have meant they'd fit a larger number of gals. I got them at a greatly reduced price and after wearing quite a few ugg style boots, know that they do stretch, so am hoping that if I put a stretcher in them, they will with time.
