Love them, but really snug (4.0)

I was excited to get these boots at such a low price and drooled over them when they arrived. The leather is gorgeous and the style is superb...a great look. Even though I ordered my correct size, they were way too snug for me. I was so sad that I would have to return them, just for a half-size larger. I printed out my return shipping label and was ready to send them back when I went back online to see if the next larger size was available. It was, but boy was I shocked to find that the price increased by $300!! No way could I afford to pay over $500 for these boots, so I took them to a shoe repair shop to have them stretched. Now I'm a very happy camper! My whole world opened up now that I realized that I can have shoes stretched for only $10...yay, I get to keep my awesome boots and look stylish this coming Fall season!

I had wanted these boots so bad for months when I first saw them before Christmas on another shoe website but waited until they went on sale. Finally- Amazon had them on sale a few months ago for $289 which seemed like a bargain from the original $700 that these originally were so I hurried & bought them. What I received was not what I was expecting- to say the least. First the tan leather on left toe of the left boot was totally scratched up with lots of fingernail marks which means I received a pair that had already been returned before. The zipper was hard to zip up as someone with larger/thicker legs must have tried them on since the leather looked like it was all stretched out & the zipper was super hard to zip. And, then when I put one of the boots on I was expecting for them to look absolutely Smoking Hot which they unfortunetly didn't- so you can say I was pretty heartbroken. I'm an absolute shoe-fanatic and LOVE classy shoes whether they're beautiful High Heels, gorgeous Lace-Up Knee Boots or sexy Mary Jane Heels... but what I was expecting in these boots is not what I received. I thought once I put them on they would look like a super expensive pair of knee boots from Italy but what I really received was just a pair of so-so boots that had a really weird squat heel. So weird cause these boots look so delicious on the photos but not so much in real life. I actually have a few pairs of Lace Up Knee Boots from Guess, Charles David & also Moschino that all blow these Alberto Fermani's out of the water that I bought 5-6 years ago. I was so disappointed in these that they were sent back the very same day. I had such high hopes for these but was totally disappointed once I received them. So hopefully the next pair of these boots they make they'll make them so hot that you'll be sure to keep them instead of returning them.

Best boots ever! (5.0)

The leather on these boots is great and they are not only beautiful, but also very comfortable. The ankle fits fairly tight, so they would only work if you have slim ankles/calves.

Comfortable and stylish boots. Run true to size. The fact that I was able to get them at a fabulous sale price ($177) was an added bonus.
