Simple but pretty and fully lined (5.0)
Bought dresses from this seller before so I thought that I knew what to expect. I usually wear a size 10 (8 on a good day) or a medium in dresses so I bought a size large and it fit well; not perfect. The chest area is a little loose. I suggest that you measure yourself because I didn't notice before but some of the dresses have different measurement charts like this one. Their large has fit me in all the other dresses I have ordered before though...like a glove. I bought this for a "trash the dress" photo shoot afterwards but ended up having to wear it instead because the alternations couldn't be done on the other in time. Back to the review; it came before it's estimated arrivial date and when I took it out of the bag (like the one I ordered it with) they were wrinkled. Because of it's original purpose I didn't bring it to the dry cleaners. So I just used my home steamer and it was good (but it was so windy that day it wouldn't have mattered if I did that or not). I have ordered from this seller before and the other dresses were not wrinkled upon arrival so I was a little disappointed but I will ordered from them again when my next need for a cheap and beautiful dress may be and I have and will recommend this seller and their product to others. I just want to say to the seller - Thank you for saving my day!!!

If you think that spending nearly $50 for a costume slip is worth it, this may be OK. for you. When we unpacked and shook out the slip, we thought it wasn't even the same slip, but zooming in, I can see that it is, in fact, the same- one can see the edge of the bustier through the fabric of the slip. I think perhaps it is the fact that the image is cut out and pasted on a white background that makes it look more opaque. Basically, there is one layer of nylon, with a draw-string- not even an elastic waistband, and at the hip ONE layer of tulle netting, each tier gathered into the one above. It would not support much weight in a skirt over it- anything more than a filmy fabric will crush it down. To hold a classic poodle skirt shape, one would need several of these, which could be built for about two bucks and an hour's work. Only those in a great hurry or no ability to sew at all will find this worth while. This is costume, not clothing underpinings.
