Helpful but not as helpful as I hope. I thought it would help me more with color selection but, but being unsophisticated with color it only helped a little.

Easy to use (4.0)

I really like how this wheel helps you coordinate colors together across and around the color wheel. It is also great that it has dark to light versions of each color. Easy to use for a non-professional like myself and really helped me pull my color schemes together in very professional looking results.

Color wheel (5.0)

This was originally purchased to aid my wife with her flower arrangements, but we find that we're getting more use out of this terrific color selector than we had imagined. In addition, you get two of them, which should last a lifetime.

A great tool to have (5.0)

The color wheel is a great tool to have. It's helpful for so many things as color places a big part in everyones lives. This one is a great size and is sturdy. It's a great replacement for my old one.

Helpful Tool for Decorating/Color Decisions (5.0)

This is handy for the layperson who is having trouble visualizing which colors go with what or for a decorator working with a client. In addition to the wheel itself, there's some useful basic advice on the progression of making color choices.

Easier to work with than other color wheels (5.0)

I crochet, but I'm color challenged. When it comes to picking more than two colors to work with, I just can't do it. This wheel helps tremendously.

Now, I can't just use any wheel. There are an infinite number of color variations. With a traditional color wheel, I have problems, because I find it hard to place my color yarn on the wheel. This color wheel makes it much easier, because there is a window. I place my yarn in the window. The window where it looks most pleasing is where the color belongs. That window is unbelievably helpful.

Then, there are the arrows. There are two different triangles, a square and a rectangle and one line straight across. If I just use colors at the tip of one of the shapes, I'm good. If I want to use more colors, Just point one of the shapes to one of the colors I picked out in the original configuration and I get another set of colors to add. There is a wonderful instruction sheet on how to work with the proportions of the colors I pick in my work.

This is a great tool for the crafter. I've found it most helpful and I'm glad I bought it.

Excellent tool for use with crafts. Makes an amateur into a pro, with regard to color selection.

It is easy use and quickly show you which colors go together. it also provides you with great color combinations and allows you to see what your item will look like with them instantly. The windows are big enought for a good color comparison with any item. This is the only color wheel you will need.

Help for the color combo challenged! (5.0)

Color combonations have always been a source of mystery and --more often than not -- just falling short of the mark.

This wheel is the best I have found in my searches. Easily contained in one packet with instructions even I can folllow, I have the tool I need to grasp why something works and why it won't before wasting time and money.

I have one for my decorating, but think I need a couple of more to have handy for jewlery making and clothes buying as well.

Good investment in yourself, your personal confidence and creativity!

This is confusing to use. I bought it for my mom to help her match up colors for her quilts. It is hard for her to understand.

Color Wheel for Gardening & Quilting (5.0)

I ordered the color wheel for quilting and it is just what I wanted. It's large enough to view the colors and for this reason I have found it far more useful than the color wheel found in quilting shops. Since I love to garden flowers, I found the wheel quite useful. Previously I never thought to use a color wheel when chosing the flowers I wish to plant, but this season I took the wheel when I went to purchase flowers for the garden. One drawback, the shipping and handling is far too high. My husband ships many items, so I have a good knowledge of shipping costs and your cost was far too high.

Awsome tool for learning! (5.0)

Wow this has everything i need to start learning more about colors. It has a cool plastify surface wich protects it. It has all 12 colors and shows you how to combine colors and the result you get, also shows you warm and cool colors and on the back has the colors with their Complementaries, analogus, triads, tertras and split complementaries. I really dig this item. I give it a five. Ps. i'm a design student incas you needed to know.

My only complaint is that it has a muted coloring. But it is a great reminder of complimentary and tri-color combinations.

Handy Color Wheel (5.0)

I keep this wheel with my craft materials. It is there to inspire new uses of color in my jewelry. Very helpful in making a final choice.

Junk (1.0)

This light is a piece of junk. The bulb they recommend doesn't light up a branch, much less the whole tree. Substituting a halogen made it much brighter, but the adjustment screw wouldn't tighten enough to hold it in position, so it didn't really matter about the light....unless you were trying to light the floor under the tree. I have a beautiful vintage aluminum tree and the only way I was able to light it this Christmas was to take the original color wheel (which is over 50 years old) and have it repaired, which turned out to be a minor fix. Don't waste your money on this light.

I purchased a color wheel which did not meet my needs for what I wanted it to do...I felt it was of very cheap quaility and was very disappointed that the wheel was not of what I expected. I have found another for which I purchased and am very pleased...Thanks anyway.

Not worth it (2.0)

I was so excited to get this but the unit is big, clunky, very cheap (not worth what I paid for it anyway), a fire hazard (gets very hot!), and there must be something better out there...

Save your money! Get something that is worth buying!

This thing is a worthless piece of junk (1.0)

This unit arrived unassembled and broken. Stem to attach wheel was bent and the threads were striped. What a disappointment.

Works well (4.0)

The wheel was easy to assemble. It's made out of cheap stuff, but if you're careful, it goes together easily. I was able to tighten the adjustment knob enough to keep it at the angle I wanted. So far, the motor is quiet. I used a 50-watt CFL flood light bulb, and it shines through to the tree nicely. Doesn't produce deep color, but I've never seen one of these lights that does.
