The Gift That Wasn't (2.0)
I ordered a gift box of 9 baked gourmet cupcakes back on 23 JUNE and they we're supposed to be delivered between the 7th and 14th of JULY and they still haven't been delivered. These cupcakes were supposed to be a part of a "Thank You" gift that I was sending. All other parts of the gift that I ordered from other sellers were all delivered within 7 - 10 days. Considering that I'm paying roughly $5.00 a cupcake, plus another $25 dollars for "shipping and handling", I would expect it to take less than a MONTH for the cupcakes to be delivered. Isn't that what the $25.00 is for? Why is there such a major delay in delivering 9 cupcakes? I am unaware of any flour or frosting embargo being established for Connecticut. I'm due to be back in Connecticut next month and it would be cheaper to have me just fly them there when I go. I would cancel my order but I'm currently unable to via Amazon.com at this time. 20 July 2010
