Best price for HP 02 Yellow Ink Cartridge. Wal Mart sells this item for $10.95. Works great. My Printer,HP Photosmart C6180, recognized it as a genuine HP cartridge.

HP definitely works on the "give away the razors, sell razor blades" model for its inkjet printers. That said, I don't print a lot so I don't burn through ink too fast, so the model works well for me. Anyway, it's yellow ink in a box, not much to say about the item itself. Pop out the old one, pop in the new one.

Small or smaller? (1.0)

Hey, I didn't know you could buy HP Inks in small and smaller sizes. This one was the smallest! The razor blade concept works, as HP has proven with its printers. I've got over 100 empty cartridges for my year-old Photosmart. But at least I felt they had 50 or more prints in them! But this tiny cartridge must pack a full 5 or 10 prints! Geez, how cheap can you get? So watch out: in the cartridge world, size matters, too!

Not As Pictured (1.0)

This item is sold and shipped by a third party seller, "Infinte-Surplus." It is NOT as pictured on this page -- no blue-and-whiite package as shown -- no "Vivera" trademark, etc. Just a plain black-and-white blister pack. It might be okay, and it might actually be HP ink, but the packaging looks cheap and "cheesy."

If you check this third party seller's reviews, there are a number of them that make basically the same comments as thse I've made here. I am very hesitant to install this product in my printer since I don't feel confident that it is genuine HP ink.

This is very unusual (and disappointing) that Amazon would sell something that does not look even remotely like the item pictured.

I am open to reconsidering my remarks if I could be convinced that the product is "the real McCoy."

I used to pay outrageous prices for toner from hp (approaching 71 dollars for this cartridge) - amazon will take a three hundred and fifty dollar toner refill for all 4 and knock it down to under 2 benjamins with their agressive toner and ink pricing.

I have an account with HP direct established based on my purchase volumes of $6K designjets, paper, ink, toner, etc that gives me discounts. I'm getting a better price here on amazon than from my HP account.

This is fully compatible with the CLP1518ni printer (and others in that series). You just save over HP's price for it, and due to the high volumes, it is current production, not stale stuff that has been sitting around!

Hi, This is my first review. I read reviews left by others before I purchase a product, and one person left a poor review because he was shipped a "generic" looking, plain white package. He actually may be on to something, because there was nothing generic at all about the product I recieved. It arrived in a very sturdy box, with HP printing, colors and logos all over it. Inside was an actual HP printer cartridge, and I followed the digital user guide that came with my printer (HP Color LaserJet CP1215) and the pictures and description in the installation guide looked and matched EXACTLY with the product that arrived. Finally, the price I paid was significantly less than purchasing directly from HP. So, if your purchase screams HP on its wrapping, feel secure. However if it arrives in a generic white wrapper, send it back.

I went "shopping" for this toner. NO one came close to this price and for genuine HP Toner? Fabulous!! Came quickly and was a snap to put in. Worked like a charm.

WARNING - I agree with the comments by PaulTheDane. Although described as Original HP in Retail Packaging, the carts I received were in a plain white box with a sticker slapped on one end. Inside, the cart was in a plain black bag instead of the usual HP bubble pack. It sure looks like either a "compatible" or refill - I've had bad experiences with those and wouldn't use them again. Someone else mentioned it might be a repackaged starter cartridge. If that's true, it has only half the toner that the normal one does. Also not good and certainly not as advertised. I called Amazon to return them and, after a series of problems, received a refund and a free return shipping label.
