After reading the reviews already posted for this item, I decided to give it a try. I ordered it to wear as a costume in a theatrical production so I figured that the quality did not really matter. This dress is actually unbelievable for the price. While it is true that the workmanship is not the best I have seen, it certainly doesn't effect the look of the dress. I purchased this dress in black. The fabric drapes well and is very lustrous.

I ordered an XL because of a reviewer writing that she wears a 12 and the XL fit well. She was absolutely right. I wear a 12 in jeans and am very self conscious of my lower body, particularly my hips, tummy, and rear. I was afraid that the gathering on the sides and back would add bulk despite the fact that other reviewers said it did not. Actually, I put this dress on as soon as I got it (no hose or other support garments) and the dress looked absolutely fantastic. I felt like a million bucks.

I bought the dress as a costume, but would I wear it off the stage? Yes, yes, yes! And I guarantee no one would guess how little I paid for it. Don't second guess your self on this purchase. I am so glad I didn't.

AMAZING DRESS FOR PLUS SIZE GIRLS TOO! (5.0)

this dress is truely amazing, i live in germany, my hubby is a soldier stationed here, and the dress came soooo fast. we ordered on thursday and it got here monday! i am size 16 in jeans and have DD breasts and ordered a 2X. my body shape doesnt have much curve but i have a big BIG chest and my weight kinda sits like a muffin top (skinny legs with a belly on top and not much of a curve, also not so great for finding dresses) and this dress was perfect! showed of everything it should and hides everything i dont want to be seen, even the muffin top belly i have! the rouching on the sides is just in the right spot, i felt amazing in this the minute i put it on, im 5'4" and with heels this dress barely lifts off the floor, but just enough. i am very impressed, bought for a MP ball we are going to at the end of the month and will post pictures after. i do have to say for being a bigger girl and having a hard time finding dresses i was scared to order online but honestly could not have found a better fit or feel. dress is classy and sexy for girls of any size, curves or no curves, boobs or no boobs...i honestly can say i think this dress would be right for anyone and will make you feel like a princess! i know i love it.(size 16 jeans, DD breast, muffin top shape, ordered the gold 2X, fit perfect and made me feel amazing!)

I too was a little skeptical about buying a dress online. Not only for how it would look, but that I would get it in time. I live in Germany, and needed it in less than two weeks. I ordered the dress and got it four days later! Wow! The dress is georgeous. I was afraid, for the money, that the cloth would be thin and cheap, but the fabric is very lush feeling. The color is true to the pictures.

My only complaint is that it runs big. The dress is listed as a juniors, so I ordered a XL so that it would fit my hips, and butt. I'm petite and very pear shaped (36C 14 pant), so assumed the top would be a little big but could be compensated by a push up bra. I top is about 3 sizes too big, but the hip is perfect and with the "give" of the fabric I could have gone with the L and been fine. I would say when ordering, go with your bust and waist size.

Not what I thought (2.0)

The design of the dress is beautiful, but looks can be decieving. The material is completely wrong. It is so light that you feel naked. The light material also makes the dress lay weird against the body. It is a nice dress... for someone else. If you like the idea of feeling naked in public and looking frumpy this dress is for you. I believe however that the only way this dress will work is if they get a heavier material to use. Thank you, but it just wasn't for me.

I love this dress and the price was modest too. I read the reviews and took their advice. All indicated that the dress was cut to a smaller size so order a size larger. My clothing size is small so I ordered the medium. Shipping was immediate it seemed. I was surprised that it came with a scarf as well (was not advertised). The dress fit me perfectly. I ordered another one in a different color and in a gown.

Beautiful Bridesmaid Dresses (4.0)

My bridesmaids love this dress! It is very flattering and is perfect for a summer wedding. The only thing to consider is all of my bridesmaids are very thin and we decided that on a slightly curvacious woman it may not be real flattering.

i ordered this dress for my 21st birthday to vegas and i love it! it was a little long and needs to be taken in at the bust a little bit but other than that it was wonderful. i cannot wait to wear it out! its going to be a head turner!!

My daughter wanted this dress for her high school semi-formal dance. We ordered a size medium based on the sizing chart and the dress fit fine. A pair of black straps came separately but they were easy enough to sew on. My daughter loved the dress.

The dress is a beautiful dress but the sizing chart is completely off. I sized myself according to their chart and the dress was 2 sizes to big and I did not have time to send the dress back. So I ended up spending as much for the alterations as I did for the dress. So all in all the dress is great, but the companies sizing chart not so great.

I needed a cute dress to wear for my courthouse wedding. A traditional "wedding dress" just seemed too over the top for a simple ceremony between just my husband and me. I bought this dress when I fell in love with the picture, price and the good reviews. (I purchased it in white.) I was not disapointed! The dress is made in the U.S.A. which is a nice unexpected thing to see. The dress fit true to the measurements and also included some nice extras. Mine came with a white wrap to match the dress and also had some spaghetti straps that you can sew into the dress if you like. This was a fantastic surprise because I always prefer straps on my dresses and it was so convienent to just sew them in instead of having to make them and match fabric, etc. etc. So easy and so cute! I highly recommend this dress. I was not disapointed. I think it's simple look will be nice even in years to come when I look back at my few wedding pictures. Fantastic!

What a beautiful dress! I am very impressed with how quickly I received my dress (I ordered it Friday, received it on Wednesday) and the beauty and quality of the dress. The other reviewers are exactly right about the sizing--I usually wear a 14-16 and ordered an XXL in the lavender. It fit perfectly except the bust will need to be taken in just a bit! I was also apprehensive about ordering a dress online, but this experience has made me very pleased with my order. I will only need to have it steamed (the tulle is wrinkled and the dress is a little wrinkled) but I expected that. The quality is also very good-nice satin and the lace is beautiful all around the top of the dress. I will definitely order from this company again!

Using this as Bridesmaid dress for a July wedding, it's perfect! I found it last yr on [...], didn't order it right away like I should of and of course was real upset when they no longer carried it. Found it here on amazon this year and snatched it up. I ordered the pink and ivory, decided overnite to switch to colors...I contacted Pacificplex via email thru amazon and they answered me back ASAP, switched my order plus it arrived correctly days early!! Dresses are a perfect match to my wedding dress, good quality and I then ordered another one(It arrived in 3 days).

Sizing was true to the pictured chart that is posted in the product images next to the different color options. One of the girls is a size 16p and she fit into the xxl. Hope this helps.

This dress is very cute and looks just like the picture; however, there were numerous loose strings and the ribbon around the waist is uneven. Also, I went by the sizing here on Amazon and it fits me just fine.

I bought this dress in ivory. I loved and wore it to my senior prom. The only problem I had was eventhough my measurements were between a 2X and 3X I ordered the 3 and it was still really tight. Also if you have a larger bust, this dress may not be for you. If your a D-cup or bigger it could be a tight fit. But overall It is a very nice fitting dress if you are a smaller plus size. And it looks great, doesnt look cheap.

i bought this for a christmas dress last year. It was nice but i'd go up a size it was a little tight also the lace on the top part was beautiful but it scratchs your arms and it started to come apart shortly after i got it but it wasn't very noticeable.

I bought this dress (in red) for my niece to wear to her senior prom, and it was perfect! I have to admit that we were surprised at how beautiful it was. The color is one of the prettiest reds I have ever seen. I also purchased a black bolero from the same company, which added even more to the beauty of the dress. i got this dress in the purple color and let me just tell you, it is perfectly lovely. It's a bargain for the price, too.

i ordered this in a 2X and then just had it altered to fit. Once the alterations were done, it fit like a dream.

This lovely dress does show off your curves, but it does so in a very subtle and elegant way. It's both conservative and quite sexy, to tell the truth.

The chiffon overlay and prongset crystal trim are both subtle, and don't really call attention to themselves, yet they add so much to the look of this dress. It's so classy and elegant, it's like something you'd have seen women wearing to parties in the mid-20th century, and yet, it really doesn't cry "retro" at all. It certainly does say "classic", yet it doesn't cry "throwback".

As you can see, i really love this dress! So, i strongly recommend it. So many of the reviewers here say many wonderful things, so if you are looking for a great dress, you might not need to look any further.

Really beautiful dress...I ordered the wrong size unfortunately (tried to allow for my bust). Unfortunately, decided I didn't have time to alter for my event. I would absolutely recommend this dress however...just make sure you order well in advance if alterations are needed!

I received my dress about a week and half after I ordered it. I loved the dress from the first time I saw it online. My daughter wore the dress for her ribbon pinning ceremony and she looked amazing in it. She received so many compliments in the dress. The dress is true to size, it fit perfectly, my daughter is rather full chested and she was very comfortable in this dress.

It is a great party dress. I wouldn't recommend it for taller girls because it is rather short. I am 5'6" and I am not able to bend over very far in it.

I bought this dress in gold. I usually wear size 4 and per the size chart I ordered a medium. It fits great! I need to get it hemmed though (I'm 5'3" 1/2 and my shoes [for this dress] are 3 1/2", but that's expected. The fabric/material of this dress is pretty thick and nice, which is surprising considering the price. It's a really good value for your dollar. Similar dresses like this sell for nearly $100.

The customer service is also great. There was a rhinestone missing from the pin of the dress, they shipped me a replacement pin, and I received it the same week! Super fast response and shipping.

I ordered this dress for an adult prom and was so disappointed when the size of the dress was incorrectly marked. I'm usually a 2x and ordered a 3x because another dress I'd ordered at 2x didn't fit. The 3x didn't fit as well. I sent it back, too. I realize that some clothes will different from brand to brand, but it was really disappointing to have such a lovely dress not fit. I ended up settling for something less glamorous purchased locally.
